3:21. അതു സ്നാനത്തിന്നു ഒരു മുൻകുറി. സ്നാനമോ ഇപ്പോൾ ജഡത്തിന്റെ അഴുക്കു കളയുന്നതായിട്ടല്ല, ദൈവത്തോടു നല്ല മനസ്സാക്ഷിക്കായുള്ള അപേക്ഷയായിട്ടത്രേ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്താൽ നമ്മെയും രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

3:21. And this prefigured baptism, which now saves you— not the washing off of physical dirt but the pledge of a good conscience to God— through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

3:21. And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

3:21. which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
